RecoveryGuard System
Engineered around canine anatomy to deliver superior protection, patient comfort, and everyday mobility throughout recovery.
One of the greatest concerns for pet owners following surgery is the possibility that their dog may remove its recovery cone while unsupervised—whether during the workday, overnight, or any time they cannot provide constant monitoring. The risk of a dog accessing a healing incision or injury can create significant stress during an already difficult recovery period.
RecoveryGuard was developed to address a core limitation of the conventional recovery cone. The traditional Elizabethan-style cone relies on a single friction fit around the dog's neck to stay in place. While widely used, that single point of attachment can be worked loose by determined or highly active dogs, potentially exposing surgical sites or injuries before their owners are aware.
Maintains visibility to support a lower-stress recovery experience while providing continuous protection.
Provides secure, comfortable support during post-surgical recovery.
Two independently adjustable D-rings provide secure leash attachment while accommodating a wide range of canine body shapes.
Developed using canine factors research with simplified two-point sizing based on snout length and chest circumference.
RecoveryGuard is protected by a patent-pending application, reflecting our commitment to developing innovative solutions for safer, more secure pet recovery. Patent pending means our unique design has been formally filed with the appropriate patent office and is currently under examination.
Rather than relying solely on the neck, the cone is integrated with a fitted recovery vest that is secured around the dog's torso. The design incorporates both foreleg openings, helping anchor the vest in position and significantly reducing the likelihood of the system shifting or being removed during normal activity. This body-supported approach provides a more stable and secure foundation for the protective shield.
The protective shield is designed to prevent the dog from reaching vulnerable areas of the body while also helping protect injuries located on the head or face. Unlike many traditional plastic recovery collars that can cause neck discomfort or obstruct a dog's field of vision, RecoveryGuard is engineered with comfort and usability in mind. Its ergonomic vest distributes pressure more evenly across the body, while the transparent shield helps preserve the dog's natural awareness of its surroundings, making the recovery experience more comfortable for both pets and their owners.

Designed for Veterinary Recovery
A patent-pending integrated recovery system developed to advance canine post-surgical care.
01
The shield, vest, and harness hold together as one integrated system, so the dog cannot reach or access healing incisions. No single friction point to work loose, no gap to exploit.
02
Designed to support a smoother transition into post-surgical protection and supervised recovery.
03
The integrated design supports supervised standing, walking, sitting, and resting throughout recovery.
04
The clear polycarbonate shield maintains visibility while helping protect the intended recovery area.
05
Developed using canine factors research to better accommodate anatomical differences across breeds.
06
The protective shield, recovery vest, and walking harness work together as one coordinated, proprietary recovery solution, engineered to move as a single system rather than separate parts.
